Frye Men
In 1863, John A. Frye opened the doors to the very first Frye shop on Elm Street in Marlboro, MA, paving the way for generations of Frye artisans dedicated to craftsmanship. Frye's unparalleled commitment to design expertise and quality is evident in every stitch and leather choice. The adoption of the Goodyear Welt process in 1923 proved so successful that it became the hallmark of Frye's output, making their boots sturdy and easily resoled. Frye's reputation for outstanding quality spread worldwide during World War II when their boots were worn by US servicemen, including General Patton. Today, Frye's iconic Harness Boot, with its signature harness ring and studs, continues to be a symbol of American heritage and craftsmanship.
