Since our emergence around the time of World War I, Iron Age has been dedicated solely to crafting work boots. Our name first appeared as we and the nation prepared for World War I. In 1918, we introduced hard-fiber toe caps to our work boots. We were also among the first work boot makers to utilize brand-new steel-toe technology in 1925. As America expanded, so did we. Our steel toe work boots, designed for durability in tough conditions, became ubiquitous at worksites nationwide. Through eras of war, industry, and challenge, Iron Age has thrived.
